Look back at the talento smart LAN advanced training course – international exchange meets practical relevance
With participants from four countries and a clear focus on remote access via talento smart LAN our recent advanced training course was a real highlight. A total of 14 specialists came together in the beautiful Black Forest at the beginning of April to extend their knowledge, to gain fresh momentum and to better themselves in terms of actual practice.
Strong technology encounters strong practice – and a marvellous atmosphere
The focus of the training was the practical application: On equipment and exhibitor boards made specifically for the occasion various scenarios were played out in small groups. The participants learned, among other things, how one can manage a system with up to 40 channels via the internet using just one talento smart LAN module which is connected to several 400-day clocks and extension modules.
And that’s not all: In the cloud this system can scale to more than 16,000 controllable channels – that corresponds to roughly 400 networked systems, which can be centrally organised and controlled. This arrangement ensures an efficient and overseeable administration, ideal for complex use cases.
In addition to the technical know-how the personal exchange wasn’t missed out on either. The vibe was overwhelmingly positive – characterised by international exchange, practical relevance and genuine enthusiasm for the system. Did you know? – Switch-off pre-warning on the trealux 510
Our trealux 510 stairway lighting timer is equipped with a switch-off pre-warning – a short, clear signal before the light finally goes off. Since 1996 his function has even been officially required in certain buildings in Germany and other countries, for example to increase the security.
But be careful: In many countries a pre-warning like this is not common – it’s sometimes even misunderstood there as a malfunction. Good to know: The switch-off pre-warning on the trealux 510 can be switched on or off individually. That way the device can be flexibly adapted to regional requirements.

What is Bluetooth Mesh? – Networking the smart way
In the context of our membership with blue-mesh.de a key topic comes more strongly into focus as well: Bluetooth Mesh. But what’s actually behind this?
Bluetooth Mesh is a wireless networking standard, where devices connect not just to a central node, but among one another. Each device in the network – be it a sensor, switch or actuator – can receive and convey information. As a result, a reliable, self-organising system is formed, which even communicates stably over great distances.
For the building automation sector this means:

✅ Flexibility, because network expands with each new device
